As a Power BI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights, providing valuable strategic insights and driving informed business decisions.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, and design data models to support comprehensive and user-friendly reports.
  • Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure the efficiency and performance of Power BI reports and dashboards by optimizing queries and data models.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Data Integration: Integrate Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems within the organization to provide a cohesive view of business metrics.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI projects, data models, and processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in BI development Power BI, data analytics, Azure Data Lake, SQL, data visualization.
  • Financial Services background preferable.
  • Experience with data quality and reporting in a regulated environment.
  • Hands on experience with other BI tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience in Power BI development and data analysis, with a strong understanding of the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in DAX, M language, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Other Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
  • Certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
