Role Overview:

The post is based at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Lahore. This is a position for a highly motivated individual, who will be expected to take part in developing cancer services under the umbrella of the Shaukat Khanum Healthcare System, in Lahore.
The appointee will be expected to provide surgical treatment to patients with gynaecologic cancers in collaboration with other specialist colleagues in order to attain a common goal of improving the outcome of cancer treatment for patients at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. The selected individual will need to be able to provide evidence of training and experience in surgical management of patients with gynaecologic malignancy, including multi-modality management of cancers of the cervix, uterus and ovary.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• FRCS with CCST in gynaecology and evidence of satisfactory completion of sub-specialty training in gynaecologic oncology surgery.
• American board in gynaecologic surgery, with sub-specialty training in gynaecologic oncology surgery.
• Full PMDC registration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and patients.
• Good computer skills.
