Role Overview:
The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a locum Consultant Pediatrician/ Hospitalist for a period of one year. The post is based at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore, Pakistan.
The individual is expected to provide paediatric expertise in the ongoing clinical care and management of cancer patients.
The Consultant will be expected to participate actively in teaching and training programmes for junior doctors in the department of Paediatric Oncology and also to liaise closely with physicians in other specialties as well as with other staff within the hospital.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FCPS / MRCP - Paediatrics (UK) / MRCPCH (UK) / American Board in Paediatrics.
- A minimum of three years- experience in Paediatrics following the FCPS / MRCP / MRCPCH or American Board in Paediatrics.
- Full Registration with the PMDC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good computer skills.
- Willing and able to take on increasing responsibility with time.
