PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Manager Strategy& Luxembourg Financial Services (m/f/d). As part of our rapidly expanding Strategy& Luxembourg team, you will be part of a very dynamic team focused on various types of projects in
Financial Services Strategy,
Management Consulting,
Investment Funds, and
Asset Management. This role involves significant work in
Corporate and Growth Strategy,
Transaction Strategy and Execution (e.g., Commercial Due Diligence, Value Creation Plan, Post Merger Integration), and
Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy. You will leverage your passion to help high-profile clients in the financial services sector solve their most complex and strategic challenges, particularly in areas like
Wealth Management,
Private Banking,
Family-Office,
Alternatives (including Private Equity, Venture Capital),
Fintech, and
Neo-banks. You will actively contribute to the growth and go-to-market of the Strategy& practice through targeted business development, manage a portfolio of clients, lead the delivery of Strategy& engagements with a focus on high client satisfaction, and interact with senior client stakeholders to provide strategic advice.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- An MBA from a top-tier university with outstanding academic performance, ideally with a specialization in finance, strategy, or management.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry (e.g., Assets & Wealth management, Private equity and alternatives, fintech/neo-banks, Payments), with a strong preference for candidates with a background in strategy consulting.
- Demonstrated experience in strategy to execution within the financial services sector, with exposure to areas such as Asset and Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investment funds and Banks.
- Deep understanding of financial services challenges and proven experience working on 'big picture' strategy projects, including:
- Strategy review, strategic planning, and equity story
- Strategic / commercial due diligence
- Development of industrial plans, business unit strategy
- Market entry strategies and opportunity sizing
- Product strategy and New Business Model development
- Corporate transformation
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively with C-suite executives.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, French and Luxembourgish is highly desirable.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and sustain long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
