We are looking to incorporate a Senior Azure Architect to join our AI & Analytics team in Madrid, within the General Consulting services, focusing on Cloud Solutions Architecture and IT Modernization for key clients.

Professional Responsibilities:
- Azure Solution Design: Define complete architectures in Azure adapted to client needs, selecting appropriate services (compute, storage, networks, data, security) and applying best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Coordinate the technical delivery of projects from conception to implementation, providing guidance to the technical team and ensuring quality at each stage.
- Client Advisory: Guide clients in their Azure adoption strategy, including migrations, workload optimization, and future architecture design.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security and governance mechanisms in Azure environments (Azure AD, RBAC, policies, encryption, firewall, regulatory compliance such as GDPR, etc.).
- DevOps and Automation: Promote DevOps practices and automated deployments using Azure DevOps, IaC with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Data and AI Integration: Collaborate with data and artificial intelligence teams to integrate Azure services such as Machine Learning or Cognitive Services into architectural solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into clear technical solutions. Prepare architecture documentation and deliver technical presentations and workshops for clients.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure and propose innovative solutions based on emerging technologies.
- Mentoring: Guide and train junior profiles in the team, promoting the exchange of best practices and professional growth.
- Practice Development: Contribute to the development of service offerings, commercial proposals, and internal knowledge generation in PwC's Cloud practice.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or another related technical field.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in IT environments, with at least 3 years in the design and implementation of solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Azure (VMs, Networking, Storage, App Services, AKS, Serverless, etc.) and ability to design hybrid or multi-cloud solutions (Azure AD, MFA, policies, NSG, encryption, backup) and practical experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps. Proficiency in IaC with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Professional Certifications: Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly valued.
- AI and Data: Experience or knowledge in data science, machine learning, or generative AI projects using Azure ML, Cognitive Services, or Azure OpenAI.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, or similar frameworks. Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps/SRE practices.
- Cross-functional Knowledge: Additional experience in other clouds (AWS, GCP), microservices, containers, IoT, or data-oriented architectures will be a plus. High level of English.
