As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering these solutions while advancing your professional journey.
Your Mission: Your career with PwC is what you make it. As our new Senior Accountant, you will:
- Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, management accounts, and periodic reports for a variety of clients across different sectors.
- Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and payroll processes, to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Provide expert advice to clients on accounting matters, helping them navigate legislative and regulatory requirements confidently.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, serving as a trusted point of contact and building strong relationships.
- Liaise effectively with auditors and third parties, advocating for clients’ best interests with professionalism.
- Begin developing your role as a trusted business advisor by supporting clients in implementation informed business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Harness advanced accounting software and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance tech-enabled service delivery.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and client meetings, further sharpening your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:
About You: We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fully qualified in ACCA member or holder of a relevant degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and consolidation tools, with a quick aptitude for adopting to new technologies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Collaborative mindset, eager to learn, share knowledge, and mentor colleagues.
- Flexibility to work at client premises and willingness to travel occasionally within and outside Malta.
