Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a IT Backup and Archiving Specialist M/F/D. What if it was you?
Your mission: As part of an international, young, and dynamic company, you will be integrated into a department with about 200 IT specialists that are involved in different innovative internal projects. You will integrate a team of IT infrastructure department, and your main mission will be to be the technical leader of PwC Luxembourg’s on-premises and cloud backup & archiving infrastructure. To succeed in his role, you should be able to understand interactions and technical aspects around some components such as: Network, Windows and Linux operating system, clustering, security, M365, Azure and databases.
Be a part of our team where you will:

• Have overall responsibility for the management, configuration and update of all tools used for Data Protection: Commvault, Azure Backup;
• Work in close Infrastructure team and Data team to make sure policy and configuration is aligned to the needs;
• Participate and be involved in all aspects of backups and project work;
• Other dependencies like Azure and MS365 are part of the scope as well;
• Develop expertise around these technologies and help our internal client;
• Act as Product Owner with required support & documentation follow up.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar IT position;
• Have extensive experience of system backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery;
• Have experience in designing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting backup and recovery system;
• Possess knowledge of Windows operating system;
• Have knowledge of storage and database systems;
• Have knowledge of M365 and Azure;
• Understand Network components and security aspect;
• Are open to discover new tools & product;
• Show team spirit, open mindset to collaborate on new challenging projects;
• Are not afraid to go outside your comfort zone;
• Have knowledge of Commvault, it will be considered as an asset;
• Are fluent in French and English.
