Our Alternatives Advisory team is growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Junior Consultant (m/f) to join the expanding Alternatives practice. The team specialises in Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt and helps their Alternative Investment clients, such as fund managers and their service providers, to master a range of projects at different phases of their business cycle with a specific focus on the clients’ strategy, operations, processes and systems. In this role, you will participate in the realisation of assignments for PwC clients, related to the financial sector with a specific focus on the clients` strategy, operations, processes and systems. The Alternatives Advisory team delivers “360-degree solutions”, well-tailored to the individual client’s needs, supporting them throughout their entire projects, from kick-off over process design to implementation and change management, looking at the whole range from governance to IT. Typical engagements include: health-checks; target operating model analysis, design and implementation; market studies, benchmarking and vendor selection exercises; as well as process improvement projects. Be a part of our team where you will:
  • Lead the design and implementation of strategies, target operating models and process optimisation initiatives;
  • Advise clients on systems and solutions, including assessments, selection, roadmaps and change considerations;
  • Oversee market studies, benchmarking exercises and vendor selection processes;
  • Review, challenge and enhance internal control frameworks (Risk Management, Compliance, governance);
  • Prepare, review and ensure the quality of client deliverables, proposals and training materials;
  • Manage project teams and drive engagements in areas such as organisation, project management, operations, process implementation or data analytics;
  • Develop deep expertise in the regulatory and operational landscape of the Alternative Investment industry;
  • Mentor, coach and supervise junior and mid‑level team members, ensuring capability building and high‑quality outputs;
  • Support business development activities, including prospecting, participating in client meetings and preparing pitch materials;
  • Contribute to expanding our service offering by developing innovative solutions, methodologies and go‑to‑market approaches;
  • Build and maintain trusted long‑term client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on key topics.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  • Hold a degree from a University, an Engineering School or a Business School;
  • Have 6+ years of experience (Manager level) or 8+ years of experience (Senior Manager level) in Consulting Services, Asset Management or Asset Servicing, ideally with exposure to Alternatives;
  • Have experience leading complex projects or workstreams and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams;
  • Are comfortable engaging with clients, contributing to proposals and delivering persuasive presentations;
  • Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to design tailored, practical solutions;
  • Communicate with impact and can confidently manage stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives;
  • Are reliable, structured, proactive, organised and able to develop strong client relationships;
  • Have advanced computer skills (MS Office);
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both written and oral;
  • (Bonus) Speak French, German or Luxembourgish;
