Make a real impact In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Associate to join our Accounting & Finance Managed Services team in Thessaloniki. This is a key role within our leading consulting firm, focusing on essential accounting and finance functions, offering a valuable opportunity for career growth in Greece.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with statutory accounting requirements in accordance with Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Support tax compliance efforts, including the preparation of various tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)
• Collaborate on accounting tasks like bookkeeping and financial report preparation with team members
• Ensure adherence to accounting and tax regulations; assist with planning and filing activities
• Provide support to clients during external audit processes
• Support in the preparation of the statutory financial statements under Greek GaaP and/or IFRS
• Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements
• Involvement in any other accounting and reporting activities to clients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience
• Previous experience in a relevant role at a consulting firm and/or industry will be considered an asset
• Familiarity with tax and accounting legislation will be highly regarded
• Proficient communication skills in Greek and English, both verbal and written
• Familiar with ERP systems and Excel will be considered as an asset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach
• A commitment to continuous learning and development
