Event and Facilities Coordinator to join our
Marketing & Communications team at PwC. This pivotal role involves managing and driving all firm-related events, both internal and external. You will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of our firm’s facilities, with a particular focus on our bespoke training venue, The Hub. As the Event and Facilities Coordinator, your organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in overseeing all aspects of facilities operations. You will play a leading role in managing day-to-day logistics, ensuring The Hub is always in excellent condition, resources are available, maintenance is scheduled, and vendor relationships are well maintained. Your responsibilities will also extend to supporting the delivery of both internal and external events, ensuring that all technical, logistical, and environmental requirements are met effectively within our venues. The role will include, but is not limited to: proactively managing all aspects of facilities operations within the PwC Hub, including resource allocation, maintenance, cleanliness & overseeing the upkeep of the building; establishing and maintaining a working relationship with vendors and venues; supporting the planning and execution of events, meetings and trainings by ensuring all venue and technical requirements are fulfilled, with a strong emphasis on hybrid and online event infrastructure; developing event proposals and collaborating with stakeholders to align facility capabilities with event needs; delegating event planning tasks where appropriate, whilst maintaining oversight of overall facility readiness and event logistics; managing budgets related to both facilities and event coordination, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for the organisation; directly overseeing events on the day, dealing with any facility or logistical concerns, welcoming guests, and coordinating with staff and vendors to deliver a first-class experience; working closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide logistical support for event advertising and communications. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Experience and Personal Attributes:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Proactive person who can work on his/her own initiative and who has a proven track record.
- Experience in communications will be considered an asset (although not a prerequisite).
- Results-oriented individual, who is able to build and maintain strong relationships and who can communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
