Our Private Client team at PwC Ireland advises a broad range of clients on various taxation issues. We specialise in advising high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses and partnerships on personal tax matters, succession planning, structuring ownership of investments and property transactions. We also provide advice to larger corporates and SMEs on management incentivisation and retention of key employees. This role offers comprehensive experience across a range of Private Client services, including high-end personal tax advisory and consulting services, tax authority intervention and audit defence, advising on M&A transactions from the management’s perspective, personal tax compliance for a diverse range of clients, input into management incentive plans for a number of corporate clients, and advising on real estate and property transactions. As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include coaching team members, driving the team to deliver results, contributing to a fun working environment, actively training junior and senior staff, bringing business knowledge and innovation, embracing digital transformation, promoting risk management and compliance, operating effectively across cultural boundaries, attracting and developing talent, directing multiple engagements, and managing within budgetary and time constraints while ensuring high client satisfaction. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- At least 8 years experience in tax consulting and compliance services.
- Strong academic record with a degree and AITI/CTA Qualified.
- Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of clients, to understand their affairs and needs, and to work with them to address these needs and manage risk.
- Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge gained from regular training sessions on topics impacting our clients.
- Capable of working both within a team and using your own initiative.
- Desire to learn and to apply knowledge across a broad range of deals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.
