Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment against the following positions:
Tenure: Appointment shall be for a period of four (04) years, either on deputation or contract basis, with an upper age limit of 55 years.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Qualification: PhD in European Studies (preferably), International Relations, Political Science, or General History from an HEC-recognised national or international university.
- Eligibility Criteria (HEC Prescribed):
- Minimum 15 research publications, including at least 5 publications within the last 5 years in HEC-recognised journals.
- 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognised university or postgraduate institution, or relevant professional experience in a national or international organisation; OR
- 10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in a recognised institution or relevant professional organisation.

- Applicants are required to submit 06 hard copies of the application, duly bound, along with a soft copy (PDF) of the complete dossier on the prescribed proforma, accompanied by attested copies of Academic degrees/certificates, Experience certificates, CNIC, Domicile, and Two (02) recent passport-size photographs.
- Applications must be accompanied by a Pay Order of Rs. 5000/- drawn in favour of the University of Karachi.
