ICAP is seeking a dynamic and highly analytical professional to lead economic research, policy analysis, and thought leadership initiatives. The role will contribute to ICAP's advocacy and policy engagement by producing high quality economic insights relevant to Pakistan's fiscal, taxation, and macroeconomic environment. The position can be based in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad and will report to the Secretary / Chief Operating Officer, ICAP.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Master's degree holder (or higher) in Economics, Public Policy, International Trade, Development Studies, or a related field from HEC recognized university OR a Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member) OR a Chartered Financial Analyst.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in economic research, policy analysis, or advisory roles, preferably with a government department, multilateral or research institutions, or professional associations.
- Demonstrated expertise and passion for macroeconomic analysis, particularly, fiscal and taxation policy.
- Strong publication record (e.g., policy papers, articles, op-eds) and interest in writing.
- Familiarity with Pakistan's fiscal and taxation environment and good understanding of international fiscal dynamics.
