The Tax Solutions Centre (‘TSC’) is PwC Ireland’s centre of excellence in relation to all corporate tax technical matters arising within the firm and the central repository for corporate tax knowledge. The TSC is an innovation hub responsible for identifying and developing new approaches to current and emerging tax issues. Our team of over 10 people from diverse backgrounds work together to support colleagues across three core corporate tax channels: Domestic and International Outbound, Financial Services, and Foreign Direct Investment. We advise clients on key corporate tax developments and deliver solutions to address complex technical matters. As a Tax Manager within the TSC, this role offers the opportunity to develop and enhance your personal brand within the tax practice, work on cutting-edge corporate tax developments, and engage in exciting corporate tax assignments for a wide range of blue-chip clients. You will broaden your experience by gaining insights into diverse tax matters, potentially work on cases before the Tax Appeals Commission, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, attend relevant conferences and seminars, and gain access to a wide network of partners and directors across the tax practice.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: Bachelor Degree (preferred).
- Certifications: Ireland: Chartered Tax Advisor - Irish Tax Institute (required) (AITI / CTA qualified).
- Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong tax knowledge and technical skills.
- Willingness and desire to take ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to take direction.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritise and to deliver within tight deadlines.
