Those working as assistants and office support at PwC will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including managing their schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling confidential information. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and effective communication within the organisation.
Are you ready to be the linchpin for PwC? As a Management Assistant, you are the one who makes the difference. You maintain an overview, monitor deadlines, and ensure everything is meticulously arranged. You anticipate what is needed even before anyone asks. With your organizational strength, communication talent, and sensitivity to political dynamics, you support Partners and Directors. You excel at setting priorities and distinguishing between main and side issues.
In this role, you are responsible for the overall secretarial, administrative, and organizational support for several Partners and Directors. You will join a dynamic and international team that collaborates across various disciplines. Your tasks include, among others:
  • Managing agendas and mailboxes. You are able to filter, prioritize, signal, and advise on information from the mailbox, acting as a sparring partner.
  • Scheduling appointments, which are often complex due to involvement with multiple internal parties. Proactive planning and monitoring are second nature to you.
  • Utilizing your organizational talent with pleasure in coordinating and arranging large and small (virtual) events.
  • Attending internal meetings where necessary and desired, playing an active role in preparation, during the meetings themselves, and in follow-up through action and decision lists under your responsibility.
  • Applying your organizational talent in coordinating various projects.
The execution of these tasks requires a high degree of independence, flexibility, accuracy, and handling of confidentiality. In this role, you will work a minimum of 3 days per week, with a preference for more days, from the Amsterdam office, and you are flexible if more days or working from a different location is required during certain periods.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

You recognize yourself in the following:
  • You enjoy working in a hectic and information-sensitive environment where no two days are the same, and where work is flexible.
  • You are enthusiastic about maintaining relationships and actively contributing ideas with your stakeholders.
  • You have a proactive attitude, are a connector, enjoy working in a team, but can also work independently, and have a sense of political dynamics.
Furthermore, you possess the following requirements:
  • Minimum MBO+/HBO diploma.
  • Minimum HBO working/thinking level.
  • Organizational sensitivity and service orientation: you quickly understand internal dynamics and know where to add value.
  • Ability to switch quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office suites and the ability to effectively use Co-pilot and AI tooling where it is efficient or enhances quality. It is a plus if you quickly master digital tooling.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, orally and in writing.
  • Availability for at least 32 hours per week.

General Conditions:

At PwC, you get the chance to be yourself, achieve your best in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. As part of our team, we offer, among other things:
  • A competitive salary, attractive pension scheme, and opportunities for self-development.
  • Training for professional growth.
  • Motivating work environment where collaboration with ambitious colleagues and recognition for your contributions are highly valued.
  • Extensive employment conditions, including a 'well-being budget' for physical and mental health.
  • Flexibility of hybrid working, including an ergonomic home office and a net expense allowance for internet and other costs.
  • Attractive mobility options.
  • 30 vacation days per year.
This is just a selection of our employment conditions. More information can be found on our website.
